Fellowship Power Team

They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.  Acts 2:46-47

FELLOWSHIP
POWER TEAMS
exist to . . .

  • Provide opportunities for the congregation to get acquainted on a deeper level.
  • Provide occasions for fun and relaxation that promote community within the church.
  • Plan social events that draw unchurched members of the community to Blue Ridge.

FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Fellowship Events
Throughout the summer special fellowship events are offered such as church cookouts, Sunday brunch, and ice-cream socials.

Sunday Morning Breakfast
A light Sunday morning breakfast is served each Sunday during the adult Sunday School hour.

Fellowship Receptions
Receptions follow special services such as the Christmas Candlelight service.

Goose Creek Cafe
Each fall, a reasonably-priced dinner is served on Wednesday nights before Adult, Youth, and Children's classes.

Flock Fellowship Dinners
Flock Fellowship Dinners are planned each quarter to help you get acquainted with others in the church.  Flocks are groups of approximately one fourth of the congregation, divided by alphabet.  If you are interested in joining a flock, please contact the church office.

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
At Blue Ridge, we believe that all members of the Body of Christ are gifted by the Holy Spirit to serve within the church and in outreach to the world. By serving in ministry, God’s power is demonstrated within the church and to the world.

Fellowship volunteer opportunities include serving on a meal team, helping with an event reception, or Sunday morning breakfast.

If you are interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities, I would be happy to meet or talk with you. Volunteering for a ministry is a good way to connect with others in the church and use the abilities God has gifted you with.
